Students had fun searching for kindness rocks during recess! They were able to keep them or exchange for a treat from the treasure box.
Mrs. Hutchinson’s class used apples as part of a process art project. They drew the trunks and used real apples as the stamp. Kindergartners are studying patterns in nature and having fun with apples this week!
Mrs. Brown's third-grade class shows off their maroon and orange for college colors day! Their school spirit must've inspired the Hokies for their big win over the weekend!
Third grade celebrated the end of Unit 1 Reading with a picnic - just like Water Rat and Mole in Wind in the Willows. 🐀🧡🦎💚
Our Lizards are ready to spend some LOOT! Students earn Linkous Loot by making great choices, demonstrating kind and safe behavior, and encouraging others. The GLE PBIS team has worked hard to set up the store, and we are so grateful to our GLE PTO volunteers for staffing the store. 💚🦎🧡
Friendship is the sweetest fruit! 🍉🍎🍌 Our fifth graders got to soak up the sunshine and share smiles with their friendship fruit salad picnic today! 🍓🍒🍊 Students brought in a variety of their favorite fruits and combined them into a yummy fruit salad.

Students in Mrs. Church's 3rd grade class put together an aquatic and terrestrial ecosystem, reviewed living and non living things, and reviewed the water cycle.
